About us

Like most parents, I want my children to benefit from the amazing opportunities to learn, connect and play online. But I also want their digital experiences to be safe and appropriate to their age.

The good news is that social media, gaming, and other online sites are adding more and more safety features for kids and teens. The bad news is that these safety features are not likely to be turned on for your child because they require that the site knows the age of your child. Instead, most sites are treating your child like an adult and their safety is at risk.

We created Bandio to change this. Bandio makes it easy for parents like you to protect your children by creating an age pass your kids can use across the Internet. Together, we will ensure that 100% of young people navigate the internet safely and in age-appropriate ways.
